Congratulations on making the 7a.m. news this morning on Radio 4. I looked at the lecture immediately- it’s so easy to access. Just hoping we can encourage our members to access it too. Mailchimp winging its way to them soon....

Just watched a feature about the Connected platform on BBC News Channel. There was an interview with Sarah Dunant, who is due to lecture on 21st April as well as a member from one of the societies. Great to see the society getting such excellent publicity. This is a great initiative and will hopefully really put us on the map! Well done Florian and all who have contributed to this!

I arrived here via the Home Lectures ' page but have not yet found the lecture
Hi everyone - so pleased that we can have access to free lectures - I have just watched this first one - very impressed with the expert - she described the painting very well but I wish she could have put her personnel opinions to the forefront i.e. why she liked / chose the painting, what she thought that it was saying between the strokes - what makes the painting special to her..etc..thanks again, Steve
The lecture streams when you want it. Watched it through our iPad onto our TV screen using Apple TV Mirroring. Very clear and informative. Great idea . Well done The Arts Society.

Took so long to navigate the site that I missed the lecture. Is it available afterwards?
Yes, the film will stay on there - and we will add more in the future: don't worry, you wont miss any: we leave them on there permanently. Kind regards, Florian
Good news for the membership. Though I take from this morning's publicity and the Guardian article that they will be available to non-members? Either way, could be a great recruitment tool!
To be a little more precise, go to https://www.connected.theartssociety.org/, click on Talks and Lectures. She is Jacueline Cockburn, sorry 'bout my spelling. And thanks Jackie J for clarifying
Good morning: yep, it's as easy as that: one click from the home page to Talks and Lectures and you are there. Hope you enjoy this and all the lectures yet to come!

Excellent lecture. As someone else said - just the right length for online.
Brilliant introductory lecture, thank you. Just the right length. Here's to the next one!
I hope some of our Thames Estuary Members enjoy it too

Brilliant. Many thanks
Another question. For how long will each lecture be available?
Thanks all esp Florian. Some fabulous lecturers in the line-up.
Good luck this morning, Florian, with the online lecture!

Answer: click on Talks and Lectures and there she is, Jacqueline Coburn. A list of forthcoming lectures and dates beneath
Expansive article in The Guardian this morning
Let's hope Jackie Jones can help us! Or indeed someone from TAS.
Me too Stephanie 🤷♀️
How did you access the lecture? I've been searching ...
