Steep learning curve using You Tube but very good. Thank you Florian

Good morning! Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, we really do appreciate it. It was amazing to see so many people from all over the country and beyond saying hello on the YouTube broadcast yesterday, hopefully we can continue to feel connected through The Arts Society.

I took heart from yesterday’s live streaming, and the launch of the new Connect site. We have to look forward and believe that there will be a new reality that takes the best of our activities from before and embraces the best of the new. How amazing to see all those ‘chats’ appearing from all over the UK, and from Europe. It made me feel bit less isolated, and a bit more connected to the Arts Society family.

I like this quote from Maria Balshaw, Director of the Tate “While we cannot have our doors open, we will learn to do some new things. We’ll be able to have a different kind of dialogue with our publics. We’ll have expanded by the time we open". Can we do the same?

Well done, Florian. A good start. Keep it up. Most of us will be needing all the encouragement you can give us to keep up with technology.
